This study [Submitted to the New York State Council on the Arts] encompasses the concept of regional music marketing as it applies to the activities of four organizations: Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Hudson Valley Philharmonic Society [and] Young Artists Program in Chamber Music. In particular, it refers to the projects of a regional character funded by the New York State Council on the Arts. This study examines the purpose of these programs, program execution, and program impact. (p. 2).
