Abstract:
Our focus on price awareness in the arts reflects more than an academic interest. The extent to which information about ticket prices for different arts events is disseminated among the general public, is of fundamental concern to arts policy-makers. A more specific concern centers on the possibility that certain segments of the population overestimate minimum ticket prices for different categories of performances. Includes references.
