This booklet is designed to help interested individuals and organizations determine if the National Endowment for the Arts has a program under which they might receive assistance. The sections of this booklet correspond to the major Program Areas of the Arts Endowment: Architecture + Environmental Arts Program, Dance Program, Education Program, Expansion Arts Program, Federal-State Partnership Program, Literature Program, Museum Program, Music Program, Public Media Program, Special Projects Program, Theater Program, and Visual Arts Program. Each of these Programs has its own staff and panel of experts and/or consultants. There are also special sections on Crafts and Folk Arts.
