Cultural Resources of the Los Angeles Area represents the only comprehensive listing of institutions and organizations engaged in the production, preservation and education of non-profit and commercial cultural endeavor in the five-county Southland area: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura. The book contains some 500 individual listings in the directory section, in alphabetical order by category, along with a bibliography and index. It is intended to serve as a reference and source for the cultural community and its consumers - residents and visitors alike - and it is furthermore a documentation of the vast wealth of cultural offerings in the region.
