Abstract:

This 2016 report by Creative State shows us the state of Michigan's creative industries through various lenses such as location, sector focus, education and political climate. It also shows us Michigan's creative industry profile not only in quantitative data: number of creative industry employers and total wages, but also in qualitative research, reporting on how artists and local arts agencies and industries are impacted by, and respond to global digitization, local culture and history, need for education and skill building programs, as well socio-political conditions.
