Abstract:
High arts involvement among disadvantage students is related to finding a better job, earning degrees, and volunteering. Low-income students who are highly engaged in the arts are more than twice as likely as their peers with low arts involvement to earn a Bachelor's degree. The data in this fact sheet was taken from Catterall, James S. (2009).
