Summary:

Statewide survey of Michigan public schools' arts education programs.

Abstract: Statewide survey of Michigan public schools' arts education programs. Findings from the survey include that in general Michigan schools' arts education programs do not have adequate facilities, sufficient supplies, and sufficient time in the school day schedule. Dance and drama instruction are rarely available to schools. Music and art require more credentialed teachers in those areas.
