Each year more and more businesses in the support the arts. In 1982 American business provided an estimated $500,000,000 in support for the arts, compared to $22,000,000 in 1967.

Business support to the arts is increasing as business discovers that the arts are important to the persons important to business - employees, stockholders, customers and clients - and that the arts make every community in America a better place in which to live, work and do business.

100 ways business supports the arts is designed to offer ideas to businesses that want to begin to support the arts and involve their employees with the arts. It is divided into four sections - People, Services and Products, Tie-ins, and Dollars. 100 Ways can be used to stimulate new ideas for businesses about to expand existing art-support programs.
