The Last Pictures collaboration between Trevor Paglen and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology developed a 100 photograph micro-etched disc depicting a story of uncertainty about the future. It was mounted to the EchoStar XVI satellite in 2012 and will reach a graveyard orbit after 15 years.
