OVERVIEW

Freedom of Expression National Monument, a collaborative public artwork by architect Laurie Hawkinson, performer John Malpede, and visual artist Erika Rothenberg was a modern-day soapbox consisting of an enormous red megaphone, which was to encourage passersby to voice their thoughts.
