OVERVIEW

Brick House is a 16 ft. tall bronze and clay sculpture by artist Simone Leigh. The sculpture is an African American woman with a skirt made in the style of Batammaliba architecture from Benin and Togo. The piece was the 2nd Black Female Sculpture in NYC along with Harriett Tubman in Harlem.
