OVERVIEW
Selva Ozelli’s digital solo art show “Art in the Time of Corona 4 – Recovery Roses” is a follow-up to “Art in the Time of Corona 3- Recovery Roses”. In this art show, coronavirus is depicted in the form of Ghosts of Roses, since the pandemic is on its way to recovery.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The art show includes paintings that have been selected for exhibition at World Health Organization and Create 2030’s Solidarity Shows: COVID-19 Arts Initiative. It includes portraits of friends, family, healthcare professionals including Dr. Ozlem Tureci who is the chief medical officer and the co-founder of the biotechnology company BioNTech, which developed the first approved messenger RNA-based vaccine against COVID-19 in 2020.
